At last Friday’s Board of Commissioner’s meeting, the Board passed a resolution [see:http://www.saveourcityrehoboth.org/16-blog/news-articles/172-resolution-regarding-rehobothlakes.html) that tasked the Planning Commission to seek public input, conduct research, and otherwise undertake necessary studies in order to develop proposed ordinances to amend the City’s Code relative to establishing buffer areas around the City’s lakes. The scope of the Board’s resolution is broad and includes both environmental and development issues and references the recommendations from the City’s 2004 and 2010 Comprehensive Development Plans.
